cattle gate Friday morning, according to the Jackson County Sheriff's Office.
Megan L. Queitzsch of Melrose WAS rushed to Black River Memorial Hospital from a farm on
Sunnyvale Road in the town of Irving after the accident was reported about 9:15 a.m. She was
pronounced dead at the hospital, according to a sheriff's press release.
Deputies reported Queitzsch was an employee on the farm and was milking cows alone at the time
of the accident. It appears she might have been trying to give an animal a shot and became caught
in the gate, according to the sheriff.
