Local Business Owners Hit Top 5 In Sales For May - Rank Among Top 10 In Overall Sales

LA CROSSE, WI - The Kitchen Solvers Corporate Office is pleased to announce that Brian and Suzie Crowley, owners of the Kitchen Solvers of the Coulee Region franchise, ranked 3rd in monthly sales for the May 2003 reporting period. Top 5 rankings come from among three different categories including large, medium, and small region markets. Kitchen Solvers of the Coulee Region is categorized as a medium region market. In addition, the Crowley's also ranked 8th in Top 10 Overall Sales for May. Overall sales rankings come from among more than 120 Kitchen Solvers franchise outlets.

Main Street Ingredients Receives "Superior" Rating

Main Street Ingredients of La Crosse, WI, announced that it has recently received a "Superior" rating from the American Institute of Baking's (AIB) International Food Safety auditors.

Main Street Ingredients, a manufacturer and marketer of functional dairy ingredients, stabilizer systems, and private-label nutritional systems, has received AIB's highest rating for the 5th consecutive year. To achieve a "Superior" rating, food processing facilities must score a minimum of 900 out of a possible 1,000 points. AIB audits review the condition of the plant, as well as the adequacy of food safety management, operational methods, cleaning practices, and maintenance for food safety.

"Once again, I'm extremely proud of this achievement by our organization," said Bill Schmitz, President of Main Street Ingredients. "It emphasizes Main Street's commitment to our customers...to provide high quality products and services, and value second to none. For five straight years now, this accomplishment has signified what each and every one of our employees works to achieve on a daily basis."

Mr. Schmitz also stated that this years audit was the first to encompass the new 64,000 square foot production and warehouse facility that was completed in 2002. "The new facility is fully operational now and it's providing us with the ability to produce at a higher level than ever before," he said, "we truly believe that we're offering our customers exceptional products and service."
