Attorney Margaret E. Ebner has been named a Shareholder of the law firm, Moen Sheehan Meyer, Ltd. Margaret received her Bachelors Degrees in Finance and Economics from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse, and her Law Degree from the Univeristy of Wisconsin - Madison. She left the legal department of Capitol Indemnity Corporation (Madison), to join the firm in 1999. Margaret advises business clients, and performs residential and commercial real estate transactions. Margaret also teaches The Legal and Ethical Environment of Business at Viterbo University. Physician Assistant Joins Franciscan Skemp Orthopedic Surgery Department
Aaron Jacobson, PA-C, recently joined the Franciscan Skemp Orthopedic Surgery Department as a certified Physician Assistant. Aaron earned his Bachelor of Medical Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies at St. Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri and his Master of Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Nebraska in Omaha. He is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Physician Assistants in Orthopedic Surgery. Prior to joining Franciscan Skemp Healthcare, Aaron practiced as an Orthopedic Physician Assistant at Mid County Orthopedic Surgery & Sports Medicine in St. Louis, MO.

Steven Borene, MD, recently joined the Anesthesiology Department at Franciscan Skemp Healthcare. Dr. Borene earned his medical degree from the University of Minnesota School of Medicine in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and completed his Anesthesia residency at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa. He is certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology. Prior to joining Franciscan Skemp Healthcare, Dr. Borene practiced anesthesia as a member of North Iowa Anesthesia Associates, P.C., in Mason City, Iowa.

Gundersen Lutheran Welcomes New Physician Assistant
Rachel Gilles, PA-C, joins the Gundersen Lutheran Hematology/Oncology department. She received her Master of Science in physician assistant studies and her Bachelor of Science in biology from UW-La Crosse in 2006 and 2003 respectively. Previously, Gilles spent two semesters as an escort with Gundersen Lutheran Volunteer Services, and then was accepted into the UW-La Crosse-Gundersen Lutheran-Mayo Physician Assistant (PA) Program.
Gundersen Lutheran Physician Among the First in the Nation Certified in Headache Medicine Subspecialty
Richard Hutter, MD, Gundersen Lutheran Neurology, and director of the Gundersen Lutheran Neuroscience Center's Headache Clinic, is one of the first physicians in the nation to be granted subspecialty certification for headache medicine by the United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties (UCNS). Headache medicine is a subspecialty concerned with the diagnosis and treatment of head and face pain. UCNS, the certifying council, is a non-profit professional medical organization committed to the establishment of neurology training standards in fellowship programs.
