" Zoey deserves to be congratulated on ehr achievements.
However I must break the news that myself, my sister and several members of our rollerskating team, the Australian Hawks, equalled the then limbo rollerskating world record of
5 1/4inches back in 1988 (I was 10 at the time). That was in the Guiness Book of World Records that year and for several years after until a girl from India beat it, skating under 5 1/8 inches.
I lost track of the record after that, but it puzzles me that people are saying the Guiness Book of Records has no such record......
Go back to 88,89,90 and have a look..
Im sure Zoey has a great chance of going lower anyway. "

" I think it's great that this is on the front page, this is a daily paper that shouldn't have to have depressing things on the front page all the time, besides the fact that it wasn't the only thing on the front page. I went to a roller rink when I was a child and worked there in my teen years and I don't think I saw one person ever go under 8 inches. It's wonderful, great job Zoey. "

I think this is a great story that should put a smile on anyone's face, from a child, to an adult, to a parent, to a grandparent. She is only 7 and is in her 15 minutes of fame, let her enjoy it without bashing her or the La Crosse Tribune. Thank you Zoey! "

" Oh my.....brings back memories of Emmett Sheehan. He owned the rink in La Crescent and he was a friend to everyone that skated there. And his wife, Marie, was a great lady. Emmett would give you a ride there and back if you needed it. All you had to do was show up at his house before he left and he'd take you home. I loved the limbo when I was younger. As a matter of fact, I won way too many times at Emmett's rink and he finally just let me skate free anytime I wanted in return for me not doing the limbo. That treadoff meant I skated Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights and Sunday afternoons. Thanks for the story. Oh, to be little again. "
