MANITOWOC, Wis. — The Vietnam Veterans of America-Wisconsin State Council is seeking nominations for the organization’s Outstanding Achievement Awards program. The awards honor and recognize Vietnam veterans whose personal, professional or community service demonstrates leadership and civic responsibility. The awards will be presented at the state convention in September.

To qualify, nominees must be Wisconsin residents and have served on active duty in the U.S. Armed Forces between Feb. 28, 1961, and May 7, 1975. Nominees do not have to be members of VVA or any other veterans organization. Deadline is June 1.
