Nancy Luedtke has joined Assist2Sell as their business manager. Nancy brings to the company extensive managerial and accounting experience. She has worked in the financial services industry for twelve years and another four years in the real estate title insurance industry. As a mortgage closer for a number of years, Nancy has gained substantial knowledge of the real estate transaction process. Nancy is highly professional has a strong commitment to the success of Assist2Sell which in turn produces a successful results for our clients. Nancy is a charter member and treasurer of the Holmen Area Rotary Club, and is a council member of the Holmen Lutheran Church. Nancy enjoys volunteering in community projects and events. He has three grown daughters and enjoys spending time with their families.

Boudreau named VP of instruction at Western

Margaret (Peg) Boudreau, of La Crosse, has been selected as the new vice president of instruction at Western Technical College. She will serve as the Chief Academic Officer for the college, overseeing the management and operation of the instructional activities of the District, including the college's academic programming and academic support functions and services.

Boudreau has served as acting vice president since Sept., 2006, and prior to assuming this role, she was the dean of Health and Public Safety since Feb., 2000. To her new position she brings administrative and teaching experience from MacMurray College in Jacksonville, Ill. and the University of Illinois at Springfield.

Boudreau holds a BA from the University of Illinois at Springfield, an MS from St. Louis University, and a PhD in Education from Southern Illinois University. Daniel D. Uhl, P.E. has become a "Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control" A CPESC is a recognized specialist in soil erosion and sediment control including storm water discharge. Certification requires educational training, demonstrated expertise, experience in controlling erosion and sedimentation. Each applicant must successfully pass a written examination designed to determine proficiency in the principles, practices, and legislation of erosion and sediment control. As of January 1, 2007 there were 27 CPESCs registered in Wisconsin. Dan Uhl is a Project Engineer at Davy Engineering Company, a consulting engineering firm in La Crosse that specializes in civil and environmental engineering for municipal, industrial and commercial projects.

Miller returns to Gundersen Lutheran for a new role in a familiar place

Sadie Miller, PT, ATC, began her career as an athletic trainer at Gundersen Lutheran four years ago. Now, she's returned to Gundersen Lutheran in a new role-as a physical therapist in Sports Medicine.

Since she began her education, Miller has had an interest in orthopedic and sports-related physical therapy. Miller earned her Bachelor of Science in athletic training and her Master of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in 2002 and 2004 respectively. She is currently working toward her Transitional Clinical Doctorate in physical therapy from Regis University, Denver, Colo. Prior to joining Gundersen Lutheran, she worked at Northwoods Therapy Associates, an outpatient orthopedic and sports medicine physical therapy clinic in Eau Claire.

HOLMEN RESTAURANT MANAGER RECEIVES NATIONAL McDonald's AWARD

Holmen is home to one of the nation's top McDonald's restaurant managers. Sue Shawley was recently awarded the 2006 Ray Kroc Award. Named after McDonald's corporate founder Ray Kroc, this award recognizes the top 1% of McDonald's restaurant managers in the country.

A select 133 managers were chosen this year to receive the Ray Kroc Award. Sue received the Ray Kroc award in Chicago at an awards gala on March 13. The banquet was hosted by Don Thompson, President, McDonald's USA at Chicago's Marriott Hotel.

"Sue is a mentor, a teacher and champion for our business. Sue is truly deserving of the Ray Kroc Award." Said McDonald's local Owner/Operator Richard Lommen.

COULEE BANK Announces that Yer Yang and Zendy Michalek Graduate From Frontline Relationship Banking School

On March 1st, 2007, Customer Service Representative, Yer Yang, and Teller Supervisor, Zendy Michalek, successfully completed the Frontline Relationship Banking School course in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin.

Sponsored by the Wisconsin Bankers Association, this curriculum has been developed to place emphasis on retaining core deposits while, at the same time, exposing students to loan products and financial services of the future.

Yer Yang began working at Coulee Bank as a Youth Apprentice in June of 2003. Starting as a bank teller, her friendly disposition along with her keen understanding of banking products and services has elevated Coulee Bank's customer satisfaction to a more profound level.

In July 2006, Zendy Michalek took on the obligations of Teller Supervisor for Coulee Bank. Zendy has a B.S. from UW-Stevens Point, Wisconsin and numerous years of supervisory banking experience. Her banking knowledge, leadership and people skills are some of the more distinguishing attributes that have contributed to Coulee Bank's success.
