I’ll be the first to admit that the tattoo process hurts, (one of mine in particular), but no less than dental work.
God did create us with amazing bodies, but did you know that some of the first Christians tattooed small blue crosses on the inside of their wrists to proclaim their faith?
Despite what some may think, there are very few tattoo artists society would consider wealthy or even well off. They must pay for licenses, equipment, materials and rent for their building just like everyone else, in addition to their own pay.
Everyone has different reasons for getting tattooed, but I would guess, based on personal experience, that very few people get tattooed to follow a crowd.
Tattoos often have deep personal meaning to the people who get them. Memorial tattoos are one example. Some people get tattooed for cosmetic purposes, such as permanent eye liner, or to conceal ugly scars. Whatever the reason, people have a right to feel comfortable in their own skin.
