Recently, President Bush met with both Canada and Mexico heads of state and pledged a “unified North America.”
Following up, Bush went to Mexico and stated he will do everything he can to encourage the free “migration” of Mexicans to America.
It’s very evident that this “new” set of immigration laws being discussed are following through with those promises. Listening to a number of our liberal senators, it’s evident that he’s not alone with this project.
I’ll list a few of the many problems I see.
With no physical checkup on the present illegal aliens, there have been some problems. Leprosy and a new strain of TB have been encountered, with no cure. Least of all is that an infestation of bedbugs is back. These are problems erased from America until people came here without physical checkups.
An increase in illegal drugs. Drug cartels have set up just over the border and are shipping drugs by the truckload.
More than 25 percent of inmates in our federal prisons are illegal aliens.
Many thousands of checks are wired to Mexican accounts by the Social Security Administration. Maybe some to American retirees.
California gives unemployment payments to illegals.
It costs the taxpayers of Wisconsin $9,000 per student in public school, per year. Yet the school administration cannot ask a family if it is legally a resident of America.
And the list goes on ...
