" I can't believe that there are people complaining about 70 dollar court side seats! Court side seats out in LA are between 2-3 thousand. You complain about 70 bucks? If you don't like NBA basketball, then don't even comment. Go to your tractor pulls or go cow tipping. For the Bucks fans, this is a great opportunity to see some NBA talent in a very small town. How much would it cost you to travel to Brew town or Minneapolis to go to a game, and it still would be a lot less than it is in most areas of the country? Wow, a gift to LaCrosse from the Bucks and people have to B*tch and moan. "

" Cost of gas to and from Milwaukee, $70. Cost of parking $10.00. Cost of Bucks ticket 50+. I think I'll save the 6 + hours on the road, save some money and just spriong for a local $70 courtside ticket. "

" Quit your damn complaining and just be glad Lacrosse is the area they choose to play. And not the cities think of the money that the area businesses will make because of the game It's a plus all around as I see it. "

" This is really commical. It's funny that people are complaining about the prices. It's about time Lacrosse had something decent come to town. And $70 for a courtsdie seat is AMAZING. You can't find LOWER prices for a NBA game, even if it is just pre-season. "

This town is something wrote on Aug 17, 2007 5:33 PM:

" Whenever anything remotley progressive happens here, people complain. It's no wonder everything seems to be on the way out of town. Are ticket prices as cheap as a logger game? No, but for the quality of athletes you can see for $20-30 bucks is unreal. $70 courtside isn't for me, but is a steal. Try courtside at the regular seaosn game. "

" Hello, have you noticed that the better European and South American players, and a few Chinese and Canadians, are in the NBA? About a quarter of the league is from a foreign country. This isn't about Olympic-style podiums, where NBA teammates often compete against each other. Also, many people gladly go to a theater to see stars making $20 million per movie. But, you can sit at home for free and watch Opra make her millions too. This game is going to be the best hoops La Crosse will see for a long time. (Globetrotter's scripts don't count!) "

" is an American "hobby" in decline. The tix are WAY too expensive and pay for a bunch of thugs "bling, bling". I'd rather watch high school or college b-ball where it's still a TEAM sport instead of a "LOOK AT ME" dunkfest. Oh, and to one of the comments earlier about going to "low quality" LOGGERS games? I will and I will continue to be VERY entertained for a much smaller price than this joke that's about to happen. "

I have never... wrote on Aug 17, 2007 2:51 PM:

" Well me being a female and not that into sports, maybe im just a little naive.... But my fiancé loves basketball, loves the Bucks, and has never in his lifetime been to an NBA game. I for one think this rocks, and 44.00 plus whatever ticket master fee that gets tacked on we get pretty reasonable seats (at least in my opinion) and an opportunity to see the Bucks play… yes that’s right I said the Bucks, and not the Bulls... well i think we will have a good time and be very pleased and happy this event is coming to lacrosse. "

The Best Players? wrote on Aug 17, 2007 2:12 PM:

" Are you joking? The best players are in Europe and South America. Check the last time the US won gold in an international competition. "

A Couple Things wrote on Aug 17, 2007 1:43 PM:

" To: "to Larry," if the NBA players were the best in the world, shouldn't they win every international basketball tourney, instead of being manhandled??? Plus, why would someone pay $70 for courtside, when you can get "nosebleeds" for dirt cheap - there is no nosebleed section in the Center! "

" these outlandish salaries. Isn't anyone offended by how outragish players salaries have become? Zambrano signa a 90 MILLION dollar extension! What, for throwing a baseball! Insane! "

See the NBA for $19 wrote on Aug 17, 2007 10:56 AM:

" It's the only chance you'll ever have to take your kid to see an NBA game for less than twenty bucks (and free parking). Personally, I can think of better things to do with my son and $20 (fishing, movie, UW-L football game, etc)... But for someone who likes pro basketball, this seems like a great opportunity. Plus, the upper class can hobnob with their buddies in the pricey courtside seats. It's good for La-X to have the opportunity to have this event! "

Goose wrote on Aug 17, 2007 10:23 AM:

" Why the whining? It is only one game! Have any of you checked prices for a similar venue in Milwaukee, Minneapolis, or Chicago? Rock concerts are just as much or higher for a seat, and there is no timeout entertainment there. Courtside at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee for an NBA game is at least $350, usually more, but includes waitress service, while $65 gets a nice seat in a "corner" on the lower level. Even preseason Packer tickets are $64 in the "corners". Welcome to the real world, where quality entertainment is not cheap. You can bet on that! "
