Two men, juvenile accused in beating

.
Two adults and a juvenile face charges after a Thursday morning altercation that left a man hospitalized and prompted a La Crosse police Emergency Response Team search for possible weapons.

A 21-year-old man called police about 3 a.m. to report several men had attacked him at 1920 Jackson St., and he thought they might have used a weapon.
Officers found the man standing but bloodied from the beating. He was listed in fair condition late Thursday at Franciscan Skemp Medical Center.

Police questioned a number of people before arresting Ontario Lowery, 19, of 2313 S. 13th Place, and Dominique Caseres Tovsen, 19, of 2734 Harvey St., both for substantial battery, disorderly conduct and probation violations. A

16-year-old male also was referred for juvenile charges.

Dustin L. Viller, 19, of 1920 Jackson St., was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

The ERT was called to search the home for weapons, police said, but found only a paintball gun.

Investigators are unsure what led to the incident, a police spokesman said.

" You just have to love how those neighborhoods have changed in the last 10 yr's don't ya. I feel sorry for the people that haved lived there all of their lives and worked hard to buy those houses and now they couldn't sell them for anything close to what they paid for them. SAD! And this city just lets it go to trash. "
