One politician I know is excluded from the above categories: Congressman Ron Paul. Paul has never voted to raise taxes. Never voted for an unbalanced budget. Never taken a government-paid junket.
Paul never voted to raise Congressional pay. He refuses the congressional retirement system as unfair to voters. Never voted to infringe on the liberty of the American people. Is so self-effacing his campaign is not about him, but about his message of limited, constitutional government; and minding our own business as a nation by getting our military out of, not just Iraq, but 130 countries around the world.
If you love America and are concerned about the next generation, you will consider, support and vote for Paul for president in 2008.
