" Johnson's husband was doing La Crosse County work for many years before they met. I wonder if he'll get the contract to install the lights in the NEW Copeland Field Restrooms? Strike that: The new Field Lighting? -OR- Is the money going for something else this week ??
Nice to have friends in Madison, isn't it Great Man Dan?

You are a partisan individual with a narrow mind. I find it very inappropriate for you to make your comments with a such a huge spin. The decent honorable hard working people will reelect Senator Kapanke, the people have seen true leadership and dedicated representation, they will not let him down. "

" Mack

Sorry for responding so late. Kapanke is not my senator but I am one of his former customers from when he was supporting himself and family. A man who has done many things in his private life. Not just a politician who never had a real job. He has stimulated the la Crosse economy with the Loggers and raised a great deal of money for charity and looked into issues that concern the real people. Those of you who don't like him are partisan, Kapanke is not. He works hard and looks at each issue with an open mind. "

" "Great man"????!!!

OMG, i think i just threw up a little.

Is this the same Dan Kapanke who voted against the compassionate care for victims of rape bill?

Is this the same guy who voted to criminalize Stem Cells and allow pharmacists to refuse to dispense doctor ordered prescriptions to women?

Is this the same guy who actually voted against increasing fines on businesses that hire illegal immigrants?

Is this the same guy who followed G-Dubya's lead and killed a program to give health coverage to all kids in the state?

Yikes, if thats what you call "great" I'd suggest putting down whatever drugs your on. "

" Tara Johnson does NOT believe is "support and defend" the constitution of the State of Wisconsin. Tara Johnson will only defend those right she approves of, not ALL and that is why .I will not support Tara Johnson. "

" To Mack: Yes, I would like to know too. Anyone know whatever happened to North Sider? "

Mack wrote on May 11, 2008 8:59 AM:

" To: The Real World, would you are to share what makes Dan Kanpanke great? We all know that the city of La Crosse poured a lot of resources into his La Crosse Loggers and how controversial these gifts can be, especially for a politician, but we didn't know he was really a great man? Could you share what you know? -Thanks. "

" Tara, I am a liberal Democrat that will not vote for you because Kapanke is so great. Sorry but you are wasting your time. "

The Real World wrote on May 11, 2008 7:21 AM:

" This gal must be naive, Kapanke is one of the greatest men ever to hold a senate seat in Wisconsin. He is a real person with real life experience, rare in this day. "
