Two hurt crash near Independence
Two people were injured Sunday afternoon when a vehicle crossed the center line and collided with an oncoming vehicle in the town of Burnside north of Independence, Wis.
Rita Olson, 56, of Independence was taken to the hospital with a neck injury and was in stable condition, according to the Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Department. Jerry Geurink, 65, of Whitehall suffered a minor hand injury and was treated at the scene.
The crash took place at 1:23 p.m. on State Road 93.
