Published - Saturday, May 17, 2008 Man arrested in ATM heist from arena in Brown County GREEN BAY (AP) — A former employee of the Resch Center is jailed on a probation hold after being accused of going in the building and using a forklift to steal an automatic teller machine. Authorities said Friday that an employee of the sports arena identified the 34-year-old Green Bay man from surveillance video and still images of Sunday's burglary. Chief Deputy John Gossage of the Brown County Sheriff's Department said an officer went to the man's home and found the stolen station wagon used in the burglary with the ATM in the back, covered with a blanket. After getting a warrant, officers found the man had $736 on cash on him, $7,000 in a drawer and a recently purchased flat-screen television and Jeep. Formal charges are expected next week.
