The judge changed the bond Monday to allow 57-year-old Alan Bushey of rural Necedah to be released by posting $10,000 instead of $25,000 as ordered earlier.
Bushey and 35-year-old Tammy Lewis each face two counts of causing mental harm to a child.
Lewis' two children, ages 12 and 15, allegedly lived with her in the home where Alvina Middlesworth died in early March. The criminal complaint claims Bushey advised Lewis to leave the body in the bathroom, saying he had signs from God she would come back to life if they prayed hard enough.
A mental evaluation has been ordered for Lewis.
The children are in foster care.
