Mr. Obama and Mrs. Clinton both enthusiastically support Planned Parenthood. Planned Parenthood has almost 80 percent of its clinics in minority neighborhoods. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s 2004 Abortion Surveillance Report (the most recent data available), black women had almost 38 percent of all abortions in 2004, although blacks make up only about 13 percent of the population. Is supporting Planned Parenthood therefore racist? I’ll let the reader decide. Its founder, Margaret Sanger, was racist to her core.
One more question. If neither Mr. Obama nor Mrs. Clinton withdraws their support for Planned Parenthood and in effect supports continuing legal elimination of a disproportionate number of black folks via abortion, will you still vote for Mr. Obama or for Mrs. Clinton in November? I sure wouldn’t! My man is John McCain, the pro-life Republican candidate for president in November, who wants all babies born, no matter their skin color.
