The following appeared in La Crosse County Circuit Court:

ACCUSED
  • Eric C. Goede, 39, of 1230 Badger St., Apt. 302, was charged Wednesday with two counts of second-degree sexual assault and felony bail jumping. Goede is accused of forcibly raping a man at a La Crosse apartment May 22, according to a criminal complaint.

  • Robert M. Miller, 57, of 803 Western Ave., Holmen, Wis., and Farley D. Fait, 53, of 311 State St., Apt. 4, Holmen, each were charged Wednesday with two counts of being party to the crime of identity theft. The men are accused in a criminal complaint of using the stolen corporate identity of two out-of-state trucking firms to obtain a contract for shipment of freight in 2007.

  • Wade C. Stenberg, 23, of 1235 S. 14th St., was charged Wednesday with possession of a controlled substance and lewd and lascivious behavior. Stenberg is accused of consuming hallucinogenic mushrooms then taking off his clothing and standing naked at 10th and Main Street about 9:20 p.m. Tuesday, according to a criminal complaint.

    CONVICTED

  • Scott Wathen, 29, now of Blair, Wis., and formerly of La Crosse, pleaded guilty Wednesday to one charge of possession of child pornography. Wathen was accused of downloading sexually graphic videos of children ages 2 to 13. Sentencing is set for Aug. 4.
