DON’T MISS: Kiddie Tractor Pull, open to children 4 to 6 years old, begins at noon today on Mill Street and the WOW belly dancers start at 1:30 p.m. at the gazebo in Village Park.
WHAT’S EXTRA SPECIAL ABOUT TODAY: It’s Care & Share Food Pantry Day. People are encouraged to bring nonperishable food items and have their name entered into a prize drawing.
COOLEST HAT AT DAIRY DAYS: “Chicken Lady” Andrea Page, a 23-year Dairy Days regular, wears a big straw hat with eggs and straw on the brim and a stuffed chicken on top as she calls for more chicken for the grill.
LARGEST STUFFED ANIMAL AT CARNIVAL: A life-size cuddly German shepherd is hanging at the “Bucket of Coins” game near carnival entrance, waiting to be won.
LONGEST LINES: Big crowds eagerly wait in front of the food and dairy tents.
ICE CREAM: Six flavors are available at the dairy tent — vanilla, chocolate, maple nut, chocolate chip cookie dough, peppermint bon bon and blue moon.
KIDS ARE ... playing carnival games and enjoying the rides. Tickets cost 75 cents each or 24 for $12. Rides take 5-6 tickets. Wrist bands available from noon to 4 p.m. for $15.
