The evening will begin at 6 p.m. with complimentary City Brewery beer while it lasts and a cash bar. A buffet dinner of traditional German food, catered by Chartwell’s, begins at 7 p.m. The menu will feature wiener schnitzel, sauerbraten, Bavarian rotkohl and Schwarzwalderkirschtorte (Black Forest cherry cake).
The New Ridgeland Dutchmen will provide German music. Rita Murphy and her Lincoln Middle School German students will serve Spaghetti-Eis (ice cream) for a donation and have a drawing for wooden plaques with German sayings, which were made in shop class. River City Clocks has donated a Black Forest cuckoo clock that will be raffled off.
Tickets cost $30 through June 11 and $35 afterward. There will be a limited number of tickets at the door. Tickets are available at the hospitality center gift shop, Satori Arts Gallery,
La Crosse Clock Co. and the La Crosse Public Library.
