Hunger Task Force’s Community Garden needs volunteers to help maintain and harvest produce. The garden is at the corners of Kane and Hagar streets in La Crosse. Volunteers are needed five days a week from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. For more information, call Todd, garden coordinator, (608) 386-3319.
Disabled woman needs medical equipment her insurance won’t cover, $50; two elementary girls would like to participate in summer recreation program, $24; 17-year-old in foster care would benefit from horse therapy program, $480; fourth-grade boy would benefit from summer recreation program, $80.
