Are these not important and worthy of reporting? Had our president avoided this unnecessary and illegal war, millions of lives and trillions of dollars could have been saved.
On Wednesday, June 11, the House voted to refer the Impeachment Resolutions (H.Res 1258) to the House Judiciary Committee. Contrary to what was noted by some news outlets, referral does not kill the resolution to impeach. The Judiciary Committee can begin hearings on the articles of impeachment any time they vote to do so. Unfortunately, unless we, the American public, make our voices heard, loud and clear, the committee may avoid taking action.
It is extremely important to the life of our United States that we impeach and convict President Bush. If we do not, we are putting our stamp of approval on the immoral and illegal activities committed during his years in office. Even more importantly, we are inviting future presidents to follow the same path toward dismantling our U.S. Constitution and the freedoms it guarantees.
