SPARTA, Wis. — Jonathon Anderson, of Ettrick, Wis., shot splits of 35 and 37 to finish with 72 and edge Holmen’s Ross Wilhelm by one stroke to the win the Championship Flight at the TRGA Sparta Municipal Open on Sunday.

The victory was the first of the season in the Championship Flight for Anderson.
La Crosse’s Lynn Lenz, meanwhile, shot an 82 to edge Onalaska’s Katie Swift by one stroke to capture the Women’s Championship Flight.

La Crosse’s Bret Rchert won the Men’s First Flight, while Sparta’s Joe Jacques defeated La Crosse’s Bob Sciborski in a playoff in the Men’s Second Flight.

Onalaska’s Cary Miller also won in a playoff over Mauston’s Steve Lange to win the Men’s fifth Flight, while La Crosse’s Bob Cagle and Trempealeau’s Robert Byrne, topped the Men’s fourth and fifth flights, respectively.

La Crosse’s Sher Olson topped the Women’s Flighted field.
