NASCAR announced that it may allow unlimited testing on the Car of Tomorrow. That should allow most of the problems to be worked out, but will be giving an unfair advantage to the larger race teams. With millions of dollars at their disposal, they will be more able to drive to tracks for practice multiple times a year.

The Car of Tomorrow was introduced to save money, and the proposed unlimited testing would give the option to race teams to spend much more in travel, crew, and track costs. While they spend more now, it may cost less in years to come for all teams.
I’m hoping that they can get these cars worked out quickly, and agree on a practice schedule that will make everyone happy. The teams that invest the most in practice may just help the ones that can’t without even trying.
