We Say: Tom Fisher on Brett Favre
So there is talk about Brett Favre coming back, again. You didn’t actually think that he would have his teary-eyed retirement, ride off into the sunset, and never have his name swirling around NFL rumor mills, did you?
I have mixed feelings on Favre coming back to the Packers. Don’t get me wrong, I always have been a huge Favre fan, and the prospect of having him under center again is enticing, but I also think that it may be the perfect time for the Packers to put a new face at quarterback, and I feel very confident in having Aaron Rodgers being that guy.
So, as the rumors are showing no signs of slowing down, I won’t be disappointed if Favre laces up the cleats once more, as long as number 4 is playing for Green Bay.
