Activities for Saturday, June 28, 2008

The Hop, Rock and Scream Tour, featuring Christian bands Amedeus, Tru-Serva and Hour of Hope, will be at 7 p.m. July 5 at Crossfire Youth Center, 422 Main St. Cost is $3, (608) 784-6565.

July 4 Masses at St. Joseph the Workman Cathedral, 530 Main St., will be at 6:30 and 9 a.m. There will be no Mass at 8 a.m. or 12:10 p.m.

Vacation Bible Schools sponsored by Bethany Evangelical Free Church will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. July 7-11 at a residence at 515 McIntosh Road, La Crescent, Minn.; from 9 to 11 a.m. July 21-25 at a residence at 603 Gilster St., Onalaska, Wis.; and from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. July 28-31 at Bethany Evangelical Free Church, 3936 Hwy. B. The programs are for preschoolers to teenagers, (608) 781-2466.

Eckankar, Religion of the Light and Sound of God, will present a worship service at 2 p.m. Sunday in Auditorium A at the La Crosse Public Library, 800 S. Main St., (608) 637-7874.

Bridgefest, an annual outdoor concert that will feature Emmaus Road and other music, will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Bridge of Life Lutheran Church’s outdoor location, two miles north of Holmen, Wis., on Hwy. 35 across the road from the Seven Bridges Bank, www.bridgeoflife.us, (608) 317-5433. Bring a lawn chair or blanket. Rain location is Holmen Square Mall.
