Hatfield supper club destroyed by fire

HATFIELD, Wis. — The Palms Supper Club near Hatfield sustained more than $600,000 in damage after fire tore through the restaurant Wednesday afternoon, authorities said.

No one was in the club at N8915 Hwy. K in the town of Komensky when the fire was reported about 12:15 p.m., according to the Black River Falls Fire Department.
The cause is under investigation.

Firefighters from Black River Falls, Hatfield, Merrillan, City Point, Melrose, Hixon, Alma Center and the Department of Natural Resources Fire Control were at the site for more than seven hours.
