Anyone wanting to attend the midnight showing of "The Dark Knight," the latest Batman movie, still has a shot for a seat.

Marcus La Crosse Cinema sold out for the special showing this afternoon, said Nick Hilleshiem, who was working at the box office.
Carmike Valley Square 6 in La Crosse still has midnight and 12:10 a.m. showings available. The theater will open up additional screens as needed for the crowd. They’ve already sold out two screens, said Adam Miller, staff leader at the theater.

“It’s been really popular, more popular than I thought it would be,” said Miller.
