MILWAUKEE (AP) — Just hours after a convicted robber finished his sentence and was released from the Oshkosh Correctional Institution, he hopped a Greyhound bus to Milwaukee and robbed another bank, authorities said.

Milwaukee police said the man robbed the M&I Bank branch in the Bay View neighborhood on July 1 and a National City Bank in St. Francis on July 11.
The man was arrested in Cudahy on July 12, police said. Charges in both robberies could be filed Friday by the Milwaukee County district attorney.

The man served a sentence at Oshkosh for felony theft in a 2005 bank robbery. They said the only cash he had in his pocket upon leaving prison was money he borrowed from another inmate.
