TOWN OF TREMPEALEAU, Wis. — Two people were injured when the motorcycle they were riding struck a turkey Saturday afternoon in rural Trempealeau County.

The pair were traveling in the town of Trempealeau about 1:43 p.m. when a turkey flew across the road and struck the windshield of the motorcycle, throwing both people off the bike, according to the Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Department.
Both were taken to a

La Crosse hospital, one with severe injuries, the sheriff’s department reported.
