ETTRICK, Wis. — David J. Junkins, 70, of Cedar Falls, Iowa, was in stable condition Sunday at Franciscan Skemp Medical Center in La Crosse after the motorcycle he was riding went off Joe Coulee Road, a mile south of Lee Lane, northeast of Ettrick at about 5:12 p.m. Saturday.

Junkins was alone on the motorcycle when he lost control of it while going around a curve on gravel, according to a Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Department press release.
