Rochelle Anderson was killed outside the Tomahawk convenience store where she worked March 22. She left behind a young daughter.
Derek Domke, 18, of Tomahawk has been charged with first-degree intentional homicide and armed robbery in the death. He pleaded not guilty last month.
No one was home when the fire struck the home of Tara and Randy Anderson in the town of Skanawan Friday.
“We pulled up and saw that there was nothing left,” Tara Anderson said Saturday. “It was burned to the ground. You drive up to your house, and there’s five fire trucks in front of it. It doesn’t seem real.”
The Andersons said their three dogs were killed in the blaze.
The few belongings salvaged by firefighters included wedding pictures and their daughter’s birth certificate and high school diploma.
The cause of the fire remained under investigation.
