Published - Sunday, July 20, 2008 Texas man gets 12 years for sex with Wis. teen WEST BEND, Wis. (AP) — A married Texas software consultant who traveled to Wisconsin to have sex with a teen he met over the Internet has been sentenced to 12 years in prison. Richard Geyer’s three children were in court Friday when Washington County Circuit Judge Patrick Faragher told their father he was “every parent’s worst nightmare.” Court documents say the 44-year-old Austin, Texas, man traveled to West Bend multiple times to have sex with the then 15-year-old girl. His bail was raised last year after prosecutors said he planned to flee the country with the girl. Geyer pleaded no contest in April to one count of repeated sexual assault of a child and one count of child enticement. He told the victim and her parents in court that he felt “deep, deep remorse. I would do anything to make this right.”
