The municipal leaders filled out applications during a morning meeting, said FEMA spokesman Michael Skeels.
The total extent of the damage to municipal property was not available, but La Crosse Emergency Management Coordinator Keith Butler estimated municipal damage at $302,000 earlier this month.
Federal dollars typically cover 75 percent of the costs, with the remainder split between state and local funds, Skeels said.
