Published - Friday, July 25, 2008 Global warming task force approves final report MADISON (AP) — Wisconsin should drastically reduce greenhouse gases by mid-century, consider offshore wind farms, set up new auto emission standards and use more biofuels, a task force formed to fight global warming recommended in its final report Thursday. Gov. Jim Doyle created the 29-member panel by executive order in April 2007 and asked it to come with ways to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Among the task force’s recommendations: The report now goes to Doyle for his consideration.
