The La Crosse County Back to School Project is collecting new and gently used school supplies at Kwik Trip stores in La Crosse, Onalaska, Midway, Holmen and West Salem; Great Rivers United Way; La Crosse and Onalaska Walmart Super-centers; Office Depot; and the La Crosse County Health Department. Businesses interested in doing an internal employee supply drive can call Lindsey at (608) 785-5841.
Hunger Task Force’s community garden needs volunteers to help. The garden is at Kane and Hagar streets. Volunteers are needed from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. five days a week. For more information, call garden coordinator Todd, (608) 386-3319.
