Robert Beck, 24, was northbound on Hwy. 131 near Herring Road in the town of Tomah about 2:45 a.m. when his vehicle crossed the center line and struck a flatbed truck driven by Ljubisa Vulovic, 52, of rural Cashton, Wis., according to the sheriff’s department.
Beck, of Harrisburg, Penn., was ejected from the vehicle. He was taken to a Tomah hospital, then transferred to Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition Monday evening. Vulovic was not injured. The crash closed Hwy. 131 for about 3½ hours.
