Activities for Saturday, Aug. 2, 2008

Christian Initiation Class, for unbaptized adults who seek initiation into the Roman Catholic faith and for baptized adults who seek full communion with the Catholic Church; classes begin Sept. 4, St. James the Less Catholic Church, 1032 Caledonia St.; classes will meet once a week from 6:30 to 8 p.m. through April 30, (608) 782-1022.

Vacation Bible School, 5:30 to 8 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, Bethel Lutheran Church, 1931 Loomis St.

Vacation Bible School, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, Faith Baptist Church, 3615 S. 28th St.; kickoff 10:45 a.m. Sunday; theme: “Dino Detectives, Digging for God’s Truth”; for ages 4 through sixth grade.
