Yucatan Jam opens today
If it's about time to get your jam on, then get yourself to Houston, Minn., for the Yucatan Jam today and Saturday at Outback Ranch.
Tickets are $35 a day at the gate or $25 in advance from SSE Music and Dave's Guitar Shop in La Crosse or at www.outback ranch.net. Primitive camping is available for $20, with reservations available at (507) 896-5550.
Gates opened at noon today. Here's the lineup:
FRIDAY, AUG. 8
3 to 4:30 p.m.: Dave Korger & Friends
5 to 6:30 p.m.: Bourbon Brothers
7 to 8:30 p.m.: Str8Up
9 to 11 p.m.: Back Home Boys
11 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.: Flashback
2 to 3:30 a.m.: TUGG
Side Stage: Tim & the Floppy Cowboys, RxR, Andy & Jake (acoustic from Tugg)
SATURDAY, AUG. 9
10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.: Olson & Dunn
1 to 2:30 p.m.: Virginia Dare
3 to 5 p.m.: Burnt Brownies
5:30 to 7p.m.: Moon Boot Posse
8 to 10:30 p.m.: The Freezers
11 p.m. to 1 a.m.: White Iron Band

To get there from La Crosse, La Crescent and Hokah, take Hwy. 44 south from La Crescent. At Hokah, take Hwy. 16 to Houston. Just before Houston, turn left onto Hwy. 76. Go 1.8 miles and take a right turn onto County Road 4. Go 2.8 miles and turn right onto TT Road. Look for a blue road sign that says "Outback Ranch, Inc." The ranch is at the end of TT Road.
