Music festivals on tap this weekend

.
You won’t have to ask yourself what you should do this weekend. If you’re in town, there are two music festivals from which to choose.

Both Irishfest and Great River Jazz Fest open today.
If you want to check out Jazz Fest, the music is happening at the La Crosse Center and the new Riverside Center South.

If you want to check out Irishfest, head to the South Side Oktoberfest grounds where there will be music, sheep shearing, storytelling and more.

To check out Jazz Fest, go to www.lacrossejazz.com.

To check out Irishfest, visit http://irishfestlax.org.

" Doc-

It's the same Gaelic Storm that was in the movie Titanic. Yes, they are worth the price. I've been to the show they did at UW-LaCrosse a few years ago and my wife has been to see them several times now. Anyone who has the chance to go, should. "

" Paladin, if this is the same Gaelic Storm I saw down in Disney World a couple of years ago, they're worth the gate price alone! "

" I'll be at the Gaelic Storm concert Saturday evening. If anyone wants to have a cold one, I'll be the stunningly handsome fellow with a touch of grey and a cold pint of Guinness. "

" Beats Of Freedom a local group will be playing at Hood Park on Saturday at 12:30 pm.

Each member of this group play some sort of drum, I'm not musical, but it is a great
"beat" to listen to.

ENJOY "
