Teen dies after ATV accident in Chippewa County : La Crosse Tribune

CHIPPEWA FALLS, Wis. (AP) � A 15-year-old girl from the Cadott, Wis., area has died after an all-terrain vehicle accident in Chippewa County.

Ashlee Holtman died Tuesday, a day after the accident.
The county sheriff's department said Holtman was a passenger on an ATV that was with another ATV on a gravel road about noon Monday in the town of Goetz. The other ATV had stopped but due to dusty conditions, the driver of Holtman's ATV ran into the rear of the other vehicle.

Holtman was thrown and landed in the ditch. Sheriff's officials said everyone was wearing helmets.
