Lynda K. (Lichtie) Wiemerslage
Lynda K. (Lichtie) Wiemerslage, 60, of La Crosse passed away Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2008, at Bethany St. Joseph Care Center, La Crosse.
She was born March 12, 1948, in La Crosse to Ray and Joyce (Nekola) Lichtie. Lynda was raised in
La Crosse and was a graduate of Central High School in La Crosse. While raising four children, she attended WWTI in La Crosse and received a nursing degree. Lynda was employed as a registered nurse at Lakeview Health Center in West Salem, Wis., for many years until March 1990. She had made Bethany St. Joseph Care Center her home for the past 18 years. Lynda especially loved spending time with her family and friends and also enjoyed reading, country music and the recreational activities at her care center.
Survivors include her mother, Joyce Lichtie of Bethany St. Joseph Care Center, La Crosse; four children, Randy (Jane) Wiemerslage of Holmen, Wis., Wendy (Kevin) Korth of Bangor, Wis., and Renee (Jason) Muellenberg and Luke Wiemerslage, both of West Salem; seven grandchildren, Lindsey, Travis and Kelsey Korth, Jacob and Zachary Wiemerslage, and Colton and Reanna Muellenberg; three sisters, Sue (Ray) George of La Crosse, Sheri (Howard) Christenson of Burnsville, Minn., and Diane (JR) Hohlfeld of Holmen; two brothers, Larry (Ainsley) Lichtie of Coon Valley, Wis., David (Kim) Lichtie of La Crosse; her former husband, Larry (Teri) Wiemerslage of West Salem; her special Aunt Audrey; and many special nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She has now been reunited with her very special father, Ray, and infant daughter, Sara, who both preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Aug. 16, at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel at Bethany St. Joseph Care Center, 2501 Shelby Road, La Crosse. Chaplain Linda Kuehl will officiate. Burial will be in Neshonoc Cemetery. A visitation will be held in the chapel from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Memorials are requested for the family to purchase a memorium to be placed at Bethany St. Joseph Care Center in remembrance of Lynda. Jostad-Jandt Funeral Home, West Salem, is in charge of arrangements.

SPARTA, Wis. — Georgette Marie Dexter, 63, of rural Sparta died Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2008, at Franciscan Skemp Healthcare, Sparta. A visitation and remembrance of life will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Torkelson Page-Smith Funeral Home, Sparta. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to St. Claire Health Mission, Sparta. CALEDONIA, Minn. — Ella M. Gran, 98, of Caledonia died Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2008, at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center, La Crosse. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, with burial in Evergreen Cemetery, both in Caledonia. Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday and from noon until the time of services Monday, both at the church. A complete obituary will follow.
