MADISON — A Sparta, Wis., man was sentenced Friday in U.S. District Court to three years of supervised release for making a false statement under oath at a bankruptcy hearing in 2006.

Kevin Kenyon, 44, must serve the first six months on home confinement under the sentence handed down by U.S. Dis-trict Judge Barbara Crabb, according to Erik Peterson, U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Wisconsin.
Kenyon admitted he falsely testified in January 2006 that he still had an asset that actually had been sold, Peterson said.
