The La Crosse County Back-to-School Project is collecting new and gently used school supplies at: Kwik Trip stores, Great Rivers United Way, La Crosse and Onalaska Wal-Mart, Office Depot, TJ Maxx and the La Crosse County Health Department. Cash donations can be sent payable to Community Liaison Program, 300 Fourth St. N., La Crosse, WI 54601-3228. Seven hundred students already have applied. Sounds to me like some of these people have had life changing events that they were unable to control such as fires, disabilities, etc. Not to say that maybe you are correct, but, lets not jump to conclusions. Remember, there are still those struggling from the aftermath of the flood! "
