According to the Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Department, shortly before 2:30 p.m., two motorcyclists riding in a group went off the road on a curve on County Road V in the town of Chimney Rock. Christopher Forster, 24, of Menomonie, Wis., was taken by ambulance to Tri-County Hospital in Whitehall.
The other biker was flown to Luther Hospital in Eau Claire. That person’s name was not released Sunday.
About 4:20 p.m., a 1989 Ford Bronco II left the road and overturned in a ditch off Hwy. 54 in the town of Gale. The driver, David K. Boros, 55, and a passenger, Bruce K. Dunwald, 42, both of Mindoro, Wis., were taken to a La Crosse hospital with unknown injuries.
Shortly after 5 p.m., Richard Niemeyer, 70, of Winona lost control of his vehicle on Hwy. 54 east of Galesville and crossed into oncoming traffic before rolling in a ditch.
Niemeyer and a passenger, Barbara Niemeyer, 72, of Winona were taken to Community Memorial Hospital in Winona. The hospital had no information on their conditions Sunday.
