The Cathy Domenget Family Benefit Fund has been established at Community Credit Union. Domenget, her son, Isaiah, 10, and a man were rescued from a burning duplex by La Crosse police officers but lost everything in the fire. Domenget’s daughter, Jasmine, 16, was not home at the time.
Donations will go toward living costs, clothing, household items and other basic necessities.
Donations can be mailed to Community Credit Union, Attn: Cathy Domenget Family Benefit Fund, PO Box 39, La Crosse, WI 54602. They can also be dropped off at any Community Credit Union location. Checks should be made payable to “Cathy Domenget Family Benefit Fund.”
A benefit with live music, food, raffles and an auction will be at 4 p.m. Sept. 6 at All-Star Lanes, 4735 Mormon Coulee Road.
