As good as it is to see the Brewers in the National League playoff hunt and relevant again, it’s even better that they’re getting national exposure for their success. By my count they’ve been FOX’s “Game of the Week” three times this season. They’ve been on both ESPN and ESPN2. And chances are they’ll play in front of a national audience a time or two during the stretch run in September.
The Brewers all but vanished from national television for the better part of two decades. But the way they’re playing now should be recognized and seen by a big audience.
