Drugan, 19, posted a 1-under-par 71 to trail two-time champion Eddie Terasa. The veteran Teresa, who won in both 1985 and 1995, posted a 4-under-par 67.
Mark Schneider, former pro at The Golf Club at Cedar Creek in Onalaska, Wis., is tied for 22nd place at 72, while Mason Milner, also from Onalaska, shares 28th place at 73.
Nicholas Byom, formerly of Blair, Wis., is tied for 41st place at 74. John Schneider, head pro at Racine Country Club and former head pro and general manager at Cedar Creek, is tied for 56th place at 75.
Jeff Kaiser, former star for the University of Wisconsin men's golf team, shares 70h place at 76, while Joe DeRosa, of La Crosse and winner of the recent Wisconsin Assistant Golf Professionals Association State Championship, is at 78.
Another 18 holes are scheduled today before the 36-hole cut entering Wednesday’s final 36 holes.
