An early supporter of Sen. Barack Obama's presidential campaign, Doyle has been selected as one of several governors and party leaders to speak Tuesday.
That day's theme is "Renewing America's Promise," and speakers will emphasize Obama's plans to improve the economy and strengthen the middle class.
Doyle said he'll talk about ways to create jobs. The two-term governor said he's honored to be asked to address a national audience and help chart a new course for America.
U.S. Rep. Tammy Baldwin, a Madison Democrat, also is expected to address the convention that day.
