Man sought in Ankeny dragging death in standoff : La Crosse Tribune

ANKENY, Iowa (AP) � A man being sought in a deadly hit-and-run is in custody following a standoff with police in Rochester, Minn., Ankeny police said.

Michael Moss was wanted on a charge of first-degree murder in the death of Andrew Hughes, who died after falling out of his car on July 21 and being dragged for several blocks. Police said they believe Moss was driving Hughes' car.
Police said they tracked Moss to an apartment building in Rochester. The standoff began Tuesday evening after Moss refused to surrender to police. The standoff ended with Moss being taken into custody Wednesday afternoon.
