The following appeared in La Crosse County Circuit Court: ACCUSED
Brian E. Pierce, 45, of Waunakee, Wis., was charged Tuesday with seventh, eighth or ninth offense operating while intoxicated and with a prohibited alcohol concentration. Pierce is accused of having a blood-alcohol concentration of 0.165 percent when stopped on Second Avenue near Irvin Street about 8:25 p.m. Saturday, according to the criminal complaint.
Ross T. Brandau, 21, of 208 N. Eighth St., was charged Tuesday with manufacture or delivery of hallucinogenic mushrooms, manufacture or delivery of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, conspiracy to manufacture or deliver marijuana, maintaining a drug trafficking place, possession of drug paraphernalia, conspiracy to manufacture or deliver hallucinogenic mushrooms and four counts of felony bail jumping. Brandau is accused of being involved in drug deals with police informants in July and August, according to the criminal complaint.
Cody J. Blank, 19, of West Salem, Wis., was charged with possession of narcotics with intent to deliver, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. La Crosse police said Blank had a bag of narcotic pills July 29, according to the criminal complaint.
Debra J. Powell, 48, of 619 N. Eighth Place, was charged Tuesday with forgery. Powell is accused of having her 15-year-old daughter cash several bad checks at a downtown business, according to a criminal complaint.
Kimberly S. Thompson, 45, of Tomah, Wis., was charged Tuesday with fifth- or sixth-offense operating while intoxicated. Thompson is accused of being drunk and on prescription narcotics while driving on Interstate 90 near West Salem, Wis., about 6:05 p.m. Monday, according to the criminal complaint.
James R. Bakke, 24, of 909 Logan St., was charged Wednesday with second offense possession of marijuana. La Crosse police said Bakke was found to have marijuana July 29, according to the criminal complaint.
Nicholas K. Boswell, 20, of 822 Richmond St., was charged Wednesday with two counts of manufacture or delivery of marijuana and one count of conspiracy to manufacture or deliver marijuana. Boswell is accused of selling marijuana to a police informant March 24 and April 9, according to a criminal complaint.
